BATTLE LA

Forgot to post about this. Last friday miss Lexi and Sam came over to hang out for the night. We went and grubbed on Chick-fil-A then headed out and saw Battle LA. It was entertaining... but pretty cheese tastic. but good night with my buddies. I wish I hung out with them more often than I do. I also felt bad cause I was a little under the weather. Anyways. Snagged this pic while we were dining. Lexi loves her sauces, that's for sure... She's definitely a saucy girl. also... focused on the food.. not Lexi.. not sure if that was a good decision... hahaha... oh well...  oh and yea. my white balance is all crazy. too lazy to fix in aperture too haha.

This morning I had to go to my church after my morning shift to help my mom out with something... Pastor Miyk's car was hanging outside, and I was bored waiting for my mom... so I snapped this picture. I like it.

In n Out

Finally got Matta away from everyone after a few hours, and went to In n Out to grub. I'm usually not in the mood for this place, but that night, i was too down to feast. Funny story... the guy sitting behind Matt was getting SUPER pissed that Matt kept shaking his leg. I don't know why.. everyone does it (at least i do) But he kept looking back with a bright red face and mumbling curses. Neither of them noticed. I would've loved to have snagged a picture of it too... oh well

PS. I hate how flickr only lets me post one picture. I wish i could group multiple pictures to a single post. maybe I'm just dumb and don't know how to do that yet...

Simba <3

Next day after the little sleep over, I went out to Torrance.

Wanted to hang out with my buddy Simba!
Simba and I tagged along with Matta to go to a local show.
We just stood outside though. Too broke to pay to get in. haha
Took this quick snap of Simba cause i was bored standing there
While he was having a convo with a random, and Matta was busy
talking to all of his fans. I swear, he's so popular.
I don't even know why Matta would wanna hang with low lifes
like me n Simba :P

MATTA

Same day I got the camera, Matta and Tim came over to spend the night. 

Had a bomb night. Lots of Call of Duty... ("Breach & Clear") and fell asleep watching Star Wars (made me miss Simba.)

the only thing that makes this photo special is that Matta is in it :P

First picture I took after getting everything out of the box, charged, and figured out.

Really love how wide 24mm is on a full frame camera.
So glad I didn't compromise and get an APS-C sensor :P

I set my white balance. metered. adjusted exposure.
blam. first pic. no editing done. love how sharp it is.

First day - March 4th

I'll admit it. I'm a nerd. I dig researching gear I'm into.

And I don't like settling for anything but the best.
So when i decided I wanted a camera, I couldn't help
but drool over Canon's 5D Mark II.
After wanting it for a year, I finally purchased it.
5D Mark II with 24-105mm f4L lens.
Also got the BG-E6 with it and an extra battery.
Threw on an E1-Hand strap as well.
I bought a really slick Crumpler limited edition
Canon Industry's Disgrace strap for it too.. but decided
the hand strap was awesome, and the neck strap
was annoying, so i took it off.
Few Lexar pro CF cards/reader for memory
and a lowepro toploader pro 70aw to hold it.

took this quick self portrait to test her out.
love this camera so far. so much to learn though.
Looking forward to many photos.
Glad it has good shutter life.. heehee

Created this a few days ago, but never posted.
Gonna keep this personal and mainly to just post pictures.
I've always had an infatuation with photography and I
finally bought a camera to tinker with. Hopefully I'll be
able to capture stuff daily.
I hope I can use this to look back and see progress.

Hopefully I won't let this die either.
